Rocktoberfest

Our team is joining thousands of people around the globe who are turning their passions into Team Fox fundraisers to help speed a cure for Parkinson’s disease (PD). We are friends who love music, beer and coming together to support one another. Recently, one of our band members was diagnosed with Parkinsons. We wanted to create a fun event to bring people together to raise awareness of PD and raise funds for research.

More than 6 million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s — the second most common neurological disorder. In the United States, approximately 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. Currently, there is no known cure for Parkinson’s. Together, we can change that.

A donation of $25 is suggested. Beer and soft drinks, and food from a local food truck will be available for purchase.

Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF). As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
