Independence Trivia

Hello friends, this July Port City Trivia will be declaring its independence!  While this month, we celebrate our separation from those tea-grabbing, fish & chips loving Brits, we also recognize that independence can be found everywhere.  Spoiler alert: a lot of it involves the English.  For this event, we will look for moments of independence and self-determination across past and present history.  As always, expect a heavy dose of pop culture, food, movies, and music as they relate to our central theme.  It is time for Independence Trivia!

The Tasting Room opens at 3 p.m.Trivia starts at 7 p.m. Come match wits with your craft-beer drinking comrades in an effort to attain the coveted title of “Port City Trivia Champion.” Teams are limited to no more than 6 revolutionaries.  We are also thrilled to be joined by the Santa Claus Yacht Club as our sponsored charity for the event.  All proceeds from trivia will go to improving the lives of the impoverished and distressed in our ALX community through the SCYC’s endeavors.

Wondering what to do about food.  Come hungry for the “Haute Dog Food Truck” who will be on site slinging some of the best dogs since George Washington was charged with cooking lunch for the Second Continental Congress.
