Baltic Porter & Doppelbock Release

Join us on Friday, December 8 as we bring back two tasting room favorites. 

First will be our Doppelbock, from our Specialty Series. Doppelbock is a stronger or “double” version of a German-style bock beer.  This malt forward lager is reddish-brown in color with highlights of crimson.  Weighing in at 8.2% ABV, Doppelbock has notes of toasted malt, dark fruits and caramel, with a touch of roastiness.  This lager finishes slightly warm, smooth, and extremely satisfying. 

We will also be releasing our Baltic Porter, from the Lager Series. Born when English workers, called porters, met the Baltic region’s lager tradition in the early 19th century.  Baltic Porters are brewed with lager yeast, dark in color, and strong in alcohol.  Port City's Baltic Porter is lagered for 7 weeks, leading to a smooth taste with malt notes of dark fruit and bittersweet chocolate.  

Both options will be available on draft as well as 16oz cans to go.
