Join us and Gadsby’s Tavern Museum as we honor the 199th anniversary of the Female Stranger’s death with the Long Black Veil on Wednesday, October 14, from 6 -9 p.m.
Our Black IPA was inspired by the famous tale of the Female Stranger, who died at Gadsby’s Tavern on October 14, 1816. Be one of the first to taste this beer during its seasonal release on the Female Stranger’s Death Day Anniversary.
Tickets are $35 in advance; $45 at the door. Purchase tickets HERE.
Price includes a tasting of the Black IPA, as well as tavern-inspired food, a Port City glass, a presentation by Port City Brewing Company Founder Bill Butcher and tours that unravel the tale of the Female Stranger with a visit to the room where she died!
Doors open at 6 p.m. with special remarks at 7 p.m. Monumental IPA and Optimal Wit will be available for cash purchase at the bar.
