We are very close to the Holmes Run Trail. From that trail, bikers can either take the connector to South Gordon Street, then go down to Wheeler, or you can cut through neighborhood roads from the trail (S. Jenkins to Vermont Ave. to S. Gordon St. to Wheeler).
The Alexandria Metro Bus 8Z and DASH Bus AT8 stop at the corner of Duke Street and South Floyd Street. From there, it is only a 0.3-mile walk to Port City.
Both the DASH-8 and DASH-1 buses connect to Metro stops (King St., Van Dorn St. and Eisenhower Ave.). For DASH-8, get off and walk down S. Floyd St. For DASH-1, get off on Eisenhower Ave. near the animal shelter, walk up the Cameron Run trail, and take the connector to S. Gordon St. (as the bikers would).
You know where you’re coming from better than we do, so check out Google Maps (or your favorite direction service) for exact directions to PCBC. Please drive responsibly.
Port City is within 2.5 miles of five Metro stations right off the Blue and Yellow lines: Van Dorn Street, Eisenhower, Huntingdon, King Street and Braddock Road. Then, the Tasting Room is either a short taxi, Uber or bus ride. If you are looking for more specific directions, please use the WMATA Trip Planner.
